Cattle breeds can be broadly classified into 3 major types according to their utility: (i) Milch breeds – Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Gir and Rathi; (ii) Draught breeds – Amritmahal, Bachaur, Bargur, Dangi, Hallikar, Kangayam, Kenkatha, Kherigarh, Khillari, Malvi, Nagori, Nimari, Ponwar, Red Kandhari and Siri; and (iii) Dualpurpose breeds – Deoni, Gaolao, Hariana, Kankrej, Krishna Valley, Mewati, Ongole and Tharparkar. India possesses 185.2 million cattle.
We the team of goshala are Desi cow devotees. We love Indian samskriti (tradition). The team (founders) who are working here are devotees of cows who live on their own professions. Our team is having a good experience in aspects like Dairy management, Ayurveda and also in Natural farming. Setting up a goshala is not at all a tough job which is a single time investment
